This presentation was focused on helping counsel better understand some of the contemporary tools that may be utilized by engineering experts to forensically investigate losses and then cost effectively create demonstrative evidence that will contribute to faster resolution of cases. Contemporary tools such as 3D laser scanning, use of drones for aerial photography, 3D printing and computer animations were discussed as well as how they help engineering experts do their job more accurately, cost effectively, and more safely.
