Biography/Background
Mr. Martorana, an Electrical Engineer at CED Inc., has 15 years of technical design and implementation experience in the electric, water, and sewer utility fields. Mr. Martorana has designed and constructed several large-scale facilities in the mid-Atlantic region acquiring experience in low/medium voltage electrical power distribution design for water, wastewater, commercial, and industrial facilities.
Mr. Martorana has experience in construction inspection, utility service ordination, standby power generation, fire alarm systems, PLC/process control system architecture, process instrumentation, and building code applications and standards. Additional experience includes security systems, lighting, lightning protection, grounding systems, and solar photo-voltaic (PV) systems.
Mr. Martorana holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Policy from the University of Denver, as well as, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Alfred State College in New York. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, the National Association of Fire Investigators and the International Association of Arson Investigators.
