Dr. Gregory Cotten is one of CED’s Chemical Engineering consultants. Along with CED, Dr. Cotten is the Unites States Navy Naval Special Warfare Group THREE's Requirements, Assessments & Combat Development Department Head and is a former assistant professor in the Naval Academy Chemistry department. Dr. Cotten worked at Bechtel BWXT as a Research Engineer, Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group as a Project Manager and Parsons Environmental Services Inc. as a Project Manager. Dr. Cotten also served as a Submarine Officer and qualified Diver for the United States Navy.
He is a member of the American Nuclear Society and served on a committee for the National Academies for managing nuclear materials and spent nuclear fuel. He has authored and co-authored more than 30 technical publications and has been recognized as a speaker at numerous technology related meetings.
Dr. Cotten is a registered professional engineer in the states of Maryland, Idaho and Ohio and holds a United States Coast Guard Merchant Marine Credential, Master of Steam, Motor or Auxiliary Sail.
